Thanksgiving and Thanksgivukkah Once in 70,000 Years!

Happy Thanksgiving from our home. 2jpg

Thursday, November 28, 2013 is a National Day of Thanksgiving in the USA

It is also the first day of Hanukkah so a new phrase has been coined with the hybrid name of, Thanksgivukkah. This will not occur for another 70,000 years so it is a very unique occurrence.

George Washington proclaimed the first Thanksgiving and each President thereafter has written a Proclamation address expressing gratitude and Thanksgiving to and for the American people.

Share your traditions with family and friends or create some of your own if you have not started, incorporating gratitude and Thanksgiving into daily lives and actions!

The vision and the dream of the pilgrims should not be lost in 21st century technology.  We the people, need to unite in harmony, respect, kindness and love for one another.   Something to think about as you celebrate this holiday is how you fit into the growth and progress of America.  Those before us had a vision of freedom and fought to uphold the concept that all men are created equal.  Lets unite with our forefathers and live that dream together.

Happy Thanksgiving and Thanksgivukkah 2013.
